the illustrated nails 2014 no: 4 | Adventure Time

Hi,

Finally after 10863650 years! Haha...It has been three months and I only got to do three nail art designs, yeees 3! And only one to share, I was just too darn laaazy to take pictures and i was also not in the mood...I guess, I was just not myself those passed months. I've given more of my attention to reading books and got trapped with the characters to all the books that I have read teehee :D

I have an awesome comeback nail art design to share to you guys, and few people requested this design so i gave it a try and here's what i came up with....Leggo? :D

NOTE: i made a nancy tutorial for jake and lumpy space princess and the rest is a video tutorial where i actually watched as reference.

COLOR(S)
base:
 white nail polish
 mustard nail polish/acrylic paint
 pink nail polish
 nude nail polish
 purple nail polish

accent:
white, red, blue, black and yellow acrylic paint/nail polish

TOOLS
dotting tool
 detailing brush

IMPORTANT!
your favorite base coat &nd top coat! ;)
photo reference of your chosen character.
 a bucket-full of PATIENCE!

clean them nails---> apply base coat---> paint nails with the base colors (refer to the picture bellow). two coats each please! :DD

get your dotting tool with the biggest tip and dip it on a black nail polish and make Jake's eyelids and with the same procedure, dip a dotting tool with slightly smaller tip in white polish for Jake's pupils/eyeball....let it dry....
and your done with Jake's eyes! :D

next, take your detailing brush and black acrylic paint and let's head on making the rest of Jake's face...
paint two identical hooks but mirroring each other under Jake's eyes....

like so...

then, make his nose by just drawing in an oval shape at the center of those two hooks and fill it in...
and connect the hooks by drawing an arc line in between Jake's eyes...

draw another arc for Jake's smiling mouth...
YOU'RE DONE.

it's pretty easy to make lumpy space princess, all you need to do is again,
take your doting tool with a medium tip dipped in black acrylic paint or nail polish
and draw two horizontal lines facing or next to each other...
like this....

next, draw two standing almonds under the lines the fill them in...

draw another almond for her mouth....
make sure she'll look really really grumpy! :D

fill the mouth with the same color and draw a vertical line on one side of her mouth to really make her extremely grumpy! :DD

it will never look like LSP without her star crown!.
slowly draw a yellow star at the top-middle part of her head....

and there you have it, Lumpy Space Princess! *hooray!*

= = = = = = = = = = = = =

for the rest of the design, here's the video that i mentioned earlier in this post ^___^:

now all you have to do is wait for everything to dry.
apply top coat (preferably 2 coats) to protect your design from chipping :D

and

isn't it just so adorable seeing your favorite cartoon characters on your nails?
now, all that is left to do is take pictures of your work and show it to your friends who also love adventure time! :D

"age does not matter" is not always about love, it's also for people who loves watching cartoons! LOL

GOOD LUCK!

thank you so much for stopping by! ^__^
