~ Hi Everyone! :)
It is already passed midnight and the sleep fairy ain't here yet, so I thought of making a post about one of my recent nail art design, which I forgot to make a nancy tutorial :( So probably I will just let you guys use your imagination and I will do my best to give you a clear and easy step-by-step, I hope that it would be okay to you guys *puffy eyes*.
Lately, I'm not in my 100% mood to create designs that would certainly use my right brain in full-capacity!. Honesly, in this design tinamad na akong lagyan lahat ng nails ko ng design, maybe I was so stressed-out that day and I was thinking about finishing all my tasks at once, kaya ganun. But, I am proud to say that I managed to do both of my hands, kahit tag tatlong nails lang yung nalagyan ko ng designs, despite of all the circumstances lol! :))) --I'm gabbing too much again!. So, before we proceed on the step-by-step, let's gather the things needed for this design :))
base color: yellow polish or any polish you like :)
accent color: glitter nail polish; black acrylic paint or nail polish.
others: stripping brush, or a detail brush; top coat and a lot of PATIENCE! :)
okay, let us start :)
1 As usual, start off with clean nails, apply your favorite base coat to protect your nails and finally paint two coats of our base color! :) (please make sure that the first coat dries before applying the second coat *wink*)
2 now that our base color is dry, grab your glittered polish and apply a single coat on each nail :) and let dry. shiny, shimmery, splendid!
3 next, choose three fingers you want to add on your designs with.
(or just pick two fingers, or just the accent finger, or you can do all of your nails, or whatever you like hihi) for my left hand, I chose my thumb, point finger and the middle finger while on my right hand I chose my pinky finger, my ring finger and again the middle finger.
dilute the paint with water, (this will help us draw much easier) make sure the consistency is just right. We don't want our design to bleed with too much water.
6 make sure that the paint has completely dry before applying topcoat
(applying topcoat on design that has not dried completely will result to smearing, and we surely don't want that) apply two layers of topcoat for extreme protection! :)
and we're done!
what can you say about the design?
should I call it tribal or chevron? haha
and that ends this tutorial, I hope you guys like it. Please don't hesitate sharing your works with me
I would be so delighted! :))
thank you so much! (:
