the illustrated nails 2012 no: 6 | sugar spun technique (my first try)

~ Hi!

                   Making a design on your nails don't just involve brushes and paints, it's also a fun way on experimenting different techniques. And one of the techniques I just learned recently is called sugar pun technique. You can see this technique of deserts such as doughnuts, strawberries and the list goes on. Who ever discovered this technique should be worshiped because it looks so edible on the nails and did I mention unique? :) So without further ado, let me show you guys how to the said technique :)

here's my finished nails :)

materials used:

black matte polish
neon pink polish
white polish
dotter or toothpick
fimo bow (optional)

- and that is the look of my first attempt, it was really fun! I can't wait for my nails to grow longer! I want to try it with different colors of nail polishes. oh btw don't throw away your old polishes, they are perfect to use in this technique :))

- that's it for now, my pillow is already calling, and i don't want it to get mad at me, so tootles! :D .
