Hi
*drum roll please* Yes finally, I got myself to share a nail art design. I am very sorry for the long wait, I just got my lappy back, but unfortunately I didn't got the files back, the internal memory was the one who totally crashed so I am starting in scratch. Oh rhymes! Hihi ...Maybe you guys are wondering why I got the time to update, well to tell you frankly I am not feeling well, I have fever since yesterday but, my head is starting to feel light like a balloon because of too much sleep so here I am, nag papasaway. I really do hope na I'll get better soon, I've been missing a lot of my classes especially my mandarin class! Psssh. I need to catch up on that subject or else it'll be a pain in my arsss! T_T
So moving on, this design that I am going to share with you is obviously about the intro photo :D
yes, I've been planning to do this designfor quite a long time, but I haven't met the perfect base color, just now! Yepp, the "bahama blue: of OMG, if you haven't read my post about the nail paint, click HERE :DD
Okay, of course first gather all the things needed :)
- midnight-blue polish as base
- sponge
- white polish or acrylic paint
- yellow polish or acrylic paint
- red polish or acrylic paint
- blue polish or acrylic paint
- smallest dotting tool you own or a toothpick
- rainbow glitter polish
- and top coat :D
Ready, set, start.......
STEP 1:
- clean your nails and give them love by applying a nail hardener or a base coat.
- when your base coat is dry, get ready to paint your nails with your base color. Apply two coats :D
STEP 2:
- rip a peace of the sponge with a pair of tweezers.
- dab it on a white polish or acrylic paint and start dabbing it on your nails.
- create the shape you want for your nebula. it is really necessary to have a picture for reference :) this technique will always do you justice, trust me ;)
STEP 3:
- do the same step with a yellow polish or acrylic paint.
- make sure to tear a sponge for each color :)
STEP 4:
- again repeat step 2 for every color.
- make sure your colors are NOT too close to each other.
- dab the reds on the base color to emphasize the other color ;)
- and dab the blue close to the white parts like so...
STEP 5:
- dab white again on your preferred intensity.
- when all of your colors are dry, swipe a thin layer of your glitter polish on each nail, this will multiply the amount of stars on every nail! :DD
- taking your dotting tool or a toothpick create some white stars, then stipple it fast, so that the
stars are very tiny.
- remember 1 dip to the white polish is equal to 1 cluster of stars.
- also add one or more slightly bigger stars randomly like so.
- drench your cotton bud on nail polish remover and clean the edges of your nail
- then apply top coat to protect your design from chipping away ;)
