~ like I said, I cannot post any latest nail art design this week but, I would like to share this design i made last June. Red is always elegant and sexy, you can wear this on any especial occasions or celebrations or when you just feel sexy and would want to add more sexiness to your nails HAHA, since I got nothing to do here at the hotel. I thought of making an animated step-by-step tutorial to acheive this design. let's begin?!
gather these:
nail hardener ( cutex: 110.95Php.)
red polish (cutex: 110:95Php)
silver glitter polish (cutex: 110.95Php)
detail brush (Klik)
white acrylic paint (Reeves)
or
white nail art pen
top coat (cutex: 99.75Php)
step 1:
clean nails + apply nail hardener or base coat,
let it dry, now apply a thin coat of your red polish, let it completely dry before applying the second coat.
I'd like to apply two coats of polish so it would last for a long time.
and here's the look on my nails *wink*
step 2:
once your polish has completely dried,
get your glitter polish and apply only at the tip of your nails.
like so, again let it dry :)
step 3:
now it's time to draw the rose. With a detail brush and acrylic paint which i have used, or you can also use a white nail art pen. And start drawing your your rose.
TIP: it is best to practice drawing on paper first, do this a couple of time.
(practice makes perfect right?) and you can also use your drawing as a guide ;)
so firstly draw a small inverted letter "c" at the middle-right corner of your nail.
then draw the rest of the petals surrounding your "c"
making the petal: I'd like to draw a curvy line first and give it a slight point at every curve and filling everything in with the color I am using.
see gif above :)
draw how much petals you want. The more petals the more bigger the rose.
step 4:
when you are finished drawing your rose, add some spiral vines. This will act as the stem of your rose.
I also drew a long leaf next to the spiral so it would look balanced.
final step:
let everything dry completely before applying a thick coat of your favorite topcoat.
(applying topcoat to your design while it's wet will make your design bleed, the brush will smudge and ruin your design. It is very IMPORTANT to let everything dry before applying topcoat.)
tadaaaah! you're done!
my finished masterpiece
- don't forget to capture lots of photos on your design! :)
enjoy the rest of the sem break! :D
