the illustrated nails 2013 no:. 6 | glamoured leopard print and cartoon bow ^^

                I'm back to serve you all with a nail art design....I worn this design three weeks ago, the one I shared on IG and on my FB page. I was wandering on tumblr, looking for some nail art design inspirations and techniques--I got a lot but, I needed to do this one first because my niece was the one who picked it, she chose this one kasi daw may bow hihi, good thing I have similar colored nail polish on my shelf ^_____^  c'mon, I'll show you guys how I achieved this design with nancy's help :)

things needed:

base color: prom queen by OMG

accent color: gosip by: OMG
acrylic paint: DONG-A
nail art pens: white by: meiya black by: sassy colors
top coat + base coat: cutex
dotting tool: lo'real
micro hexagon: klik

STEP 1:

apply base coat or nail hardener, let dry then apply two coats of base color again, let it dry.

STEP 2:

create random shapes using the mint green polish all over nails, excluding the accent finger. ring finger

like so :]

STEP 3:

get your dotting tool and black acrylic paint and draw squiggly lines around the mint green shapes, midway or with spaces. this doesn't have to be perfect, as long as it mimics the leopard print

let everything dry and top it off with two coats of your favorite top coat to protect your design :)

now let's begin with the accent finger's design.

STEP 1:

coat the tip of the nail with top coat, then sprinkle it with the silver glitter or micro hexagon

STEP 2:

grab your white nail art pen and start drawing the outline of your bow.

add some ribbons if you like then, fill everything with white. let it dry

STEP 3:

once dry, get your black nail art pen or with your dotting tool and acrylic paint, outline and emphasize your bow. like so ^____^

you guys know what's next. Let everything dry completely then apply generous amount of top coat.

I was so sleepy, I slept on my slightly wet nails that's why it's a bit textured and crumpled hihi ^^V
