~ shine bright like a diamond (randomness activated)

~ Hi Everyone!

I'm home early again! :)) I am very sorry for the delay, didn't have the time to update because of so many things.
Anyhow, here's the nail art design I worn during my birthday and throughout the week. Hence, I did 5 random designs for every fingernail. I did a cupcake for my thumbs, a dotted background + number 22 for my point fingers, zoomed doughnut with melted white cream with sprinkled sweets for my middle fingers, pink leopard print for my ring fingers and candy canes for my little finger. Good thing my nails didn't get cavities for all the sugary stuffs. (I'm no sweet tooth though) Hihi.

Shall we start the yummy treat? I sure hope you're not diabetic *wink*.

Basecoat && Topcoat

nail hardener: cutex (109.75 Php)
clear gloss: cutex (99.75 Php)

-         Firstly, freshen up your nails (a clean canvass will always result to a superb work of art)
-         After that, apply basecoat or nail hardener (this will protect the nails)
Next, apply two coats of the base color (make sure the first coat has completely dry before putting in the second coat

**for this design: I painted (base color) my thumb: red(from cutex); pointer: white(white a minute, free from POL!SHED); middle: sandy pink(crystal sand; OMG); ring: satin pink(flirty: FLIRT nail polish); little: sandy red(crystal sand from OMG).**

Okay, let us now proceed to the design ;)

STEPS:

Thumb: cupcake

Ø With a brown polish, make a rectangle at the very bottom of your nails. Let it dry.
Ø Draw lines that would mimic the base of a cupcake using a lighter brown polish.
Ø By using a white nail art pen, draw the outline of your cupcake, and then fill it in.
Ø While the cupcake is still drenched, quickly place the micro hexagons on the top part of your cupcake. Let it dry completely
Ø add on some fimo thingies to tote up a few glamour J (this is a 100% non-obligatory)

(Please see the GIF below for trouble-free insights)

Point finger: 22! + dotted line BG.

Ø make a dotted line perpendicularly and alternately with a beige and pink polish using a dotting tool.
Ø Outline your preferred number.
Ø Draw “serifs”. (drawing small line extremities; depending on the type of character or font you would want to use. Thanks to my drafting teacher for educating me this lol)
Ø On the number, add pink and yellow outer-strokes.

(Please see the GIF below for trouble-free insights)

Middle finger: zoomed doughnut

Ø    Outline drips using white nail art pen.
Ø    Fill ‘em in.
Ø    By the dotting tool + pink and yellow polish, create distorted dashed lines that would imitate sprinkled sweets.

(Please see the GIF below for trouble-free insights)

Ring finger: pink leopard print

Ø   Make fuzzy shapes with a darker pink polish. Allow it to dry.
Ø   Using a black polish and a dotting tool or black nail art pen, add half-frames to the shapes you made.
(it is best to have a picture of a leopard print for extra guide)
Ø   Add up black spots to balance the look.*wink*

(Please see the GIF below for trouble-free insights)

Little finger: candy cane

Ø Draw thick slant stripes using white polish.
Ø Once dried, draw a slant line at the middle part of every white slant using red polish and striping brush.

(Please see the GIF below for trouble-free insights)

**Allow all of the designs dry! And apply a generous amount of top coat to prevent your design from chipping away.**
